Freckle the Fantastic

A short animated film created within 2 months for preschool audiences, ages 4–6, with a runtime of 50 seconds. I was involved in all stages of the animation pipeline, from pre-production to post-production.

Character Colour Design - Freckle

I finalized the character colours, choosing a vibrant, circus-themed palette designed to be colourful and visually appealing, especially for preschool audiences.

Modelling

and Texturing

For my animation project aimed at preschoolers, I modeled and textured a set of circus props in Maya. The models are colourful, vibrant, and simple, ensuring they are both visually engaging and highly effective in storytelling.

Animating

and Rendering

I animated this scene in Maya, where the mouse moves the trampoline into position to save Freckle from falling. I also animated three different close-up poses of Freckle mid-air. After completing the animation, I rendered the shots and combined them into a single sequence using Adobe Premiere Pro.

Poster

I illustrated the poster in Sketchbook and added the text layout in Canva.
